Website Design Cost Quote

First, you will want to take some time to think about what you wish to accomplish with your new website, what is its purpose? Determine if you will need any special functionality or interactivity with your visitors; consider the type of design style which appeals to you and then let us know. Once you are organized and ready, please request your free, no-obligation website design quote . If you only need mofications to your current website, our hourly rate is $25.00 and if a project takes 1.5 hours, you will be charged for two. If your project takes less than 1.5 hours you will be be charged for 1 hour. Anything less than one hour, for those jobs lasting over an hour, will be rounded out to one hour. Over an hour and a half and it's 2 hours. We keep a daily log of all work done on your site.

 

Needs Analysis

When requesting your website design quote , we will try to determine your needs, what you want from your website, and try to get a feel for your industry or purpose. This is why it is important for you to be as detailed as possible when requesting your quote.

We may have questions or issues, which we will explain before quoting you a price. Only if we think your website project could actually benefit from our services will quote you a price.

 

Website Design Contract

After we both reach an agreement on project details, time involved and price, we usually prepare a web site development contract for your review, sign and send back with your deposit. (Contracts are not required for projects under $500.00.) However, a 50% deposit is required for all projects and must be paid before work start.

 

Initial Deposit

The signed contract, if required, and/or 50% deposit of the total price quoted is required before we will schedule work to begin on your project. Your balance will be due immediately upon project completion. After we have received your 50% deposit, signed contract, and design details, we will send you a copy of the fully executed contract, a receipt for your deposit and your project start date. All projects are scheduled on a “first come, first served” basis. Your 50% deposit in not refundable once work starts on your design.

 

Web Hosting

If you require hosting services, we recommend Pearl Web Design hosting services. Many of our clients host their web sites other servers and they are paying much more than they should for basic hosting. Completion of Site

Final Payment

Final payment must be received before we load the web site live under your domain name and on your server. Upon receipt of your final payment, you will be emailed a "final/paid in full" receipt.

 

Launching Your Website

All necessary website files and scripts will copied to your domain server and databases are setup.

 

Testing

After the website is loaded, all interactive programming and scripts are tested to verify function. The design and testing phase often occurs on different servers, it is very important to confirm everything is working properly.

 

Instructions & Documentation

Documentation needed for the administration functions of your web site are sent in PDF format and may include passwords, URL for various functions.

 

Search Engine Submission

Hand submission and automated search engine submission is completed after launching, testing and fixing any issues there may have been discovered. Additionally, we run an SEO test to insure search engine fine tuning for best page rank.

 

Minor Adjustments / Changes

Minor adjustments to your web site are included at no charge for up to two weeks after the web site has been loaded on your server, for a maximum of 3 hours labor. Additional labor will be provided for $25.00 per hour. We consider minor changes to be adding or changing text, adding or changing photos, etc. Any major revision may require additional discussions and will most likely incur a fee.
